SCO has years of logistics experience on both sides of the northern border. Many of our associates have worked in Canada and USA…we have Canadians, Americans and dual citizens on our team. SCO was founded in Toronto and today is headquartered near Buffalo. We are a registered business entity in both the province of Ontario and the state of New York.

To help clients navigate the complexities of crossing the border in either direction between USA and Canada, SCO has cobbled together all the required support companies in both countries and negotiated attractive rates for their services. Essentially we offer a turnkey cross border operation that includes:

  • Local warehouses
  • National warehouses
  • Freight forwarders
  • Customs brokers
  • Small package carriers
  • Less than truckload carriers
  • Truckload carriers
  • Freight brokers
  • Customs attorneys
  • Tax accountants
  • Capital Funding
  • Telemarketing services

Because of our extensive border knowledge, SCO can analyze import and export operations for compliance, management control and cost efficiency. We’ll spend a relatively short time – days not weeks - reviewing client functions in order to generate a report card for senior management. The client can then correct the deficiencies internally, retain outside expertise or engage SCO to implement changes. The important point is that the client controls the process and decides how to apply corrective action which may or may not include SCO. Our report card will provide the road map to process and cost improvement but the client has implementation options.
